Sweet. I can't find much about the Mid-Ohio PDX. It's on the Great Lakes SCCA site but not on the Mid-Ohio schedule, is it a bit early to be looking for detailed information?

Thanks for the reply on my brakes. I'm driving a 2005 Legacy GT. It is 3300 lbs stock and I've taken off weight from things that spin -wheels and a crank pulley. I've read about the Legacy GTs racing at the Koni Challenge so I know they can do it. I upgraded the car so it can handle an autocross but I wasn't sure if the brakes could handle track speed. I guess the novice drivers don't drive as fast or long enough to overheat the brakes. The Legacy has big rotors and the WRX people use them as upgrades.

I read the schedule and it looks like a 3 day event. I could only make it on Sunday.

NASA has a region up there too - go to both group's days! Cool

Let us know what you think of Mid-Ohio and the SCCA gang.

We'll have some more PDX's later after you get back.

There is a Seat-Time track day on Friday. The SCR-SCCA event is on Sat-Sun. You can register for just one day if you can only make it on Sunday.

I was on the USCMotorsports forum today and they were saying that none of you guys were coming because you were scared of driving over 30 mph.

They also may have mentioned something about using orange toilet paper. Surprised
