My LCA bushings ripped (common problem on Subarus) and I got new offset AVO polyurathane bushings. The play in the steering is gone and it feels much more connected to the road. I also had a standard alignment done at Billy Finch in Seneca. The car goes straight when the steering wheel is straight, but it pulls to the right a little at highway speeds when I take my hands off the wheel. Before even with the ripped bushings, it would go straight on the highway with my hands off the wheel. Was the alignment done right?

Here is the alignment readout:

Looks like the aggressive/uneven toe-in has been corrected. The slight toe-out you have now will pull a little based on the crown of the road. You should notice better turn-in now.

Alignments are a black art.

I had a speed shop check out my car after they placed on some new parts. The AVO bushings were installed correctly, but the alignment was wrong. The car pulls to the right all the time now after only 1000 miles since the alignment. I could go back to the place in Seneca, but they did it wrong the first time. I don't trust them to try it again.

what he said times 10, welcome to having an aggressive'ish alignment.

i've had my car aligned there 10 times, successfully.

So, the alignment is ok? It does pull based on the crown of the road. It drifts little on a very flat road. It goes straight in the left lane on the highway and pulls to the right in the right lane.

if you have zero toe or toe-out on the front, the car (in general) rarely goes straight.

it's a trade-off for increasing response.

you should have had more negative camber dialed in, if it was possible.

How are your tires?

Going strait in the left lane but drifting to the right in the right lane sounds like it is just fallowing the slant of the road.

I forgot to update this post. I went back to Billy Finch in Seneca and had the alignment done again. It was much better afterwards.

I'm going back there again for my next suspension job. I will have them install new Subaru Spec B top hats to the front strut mounts, Swift springs on Tokico HTS struts. It will lower the car about an inch so I had to buy a roll center kit to correct for the lowering. It should make my car handle like the Legacy GT Spec B without having to buy a Spec B.

Tire wear has made a huge difference for me in regards to how the car handles on a straight line. Your tires still look to have plenty of life in them, I don't know how unevenly they've worn, but I don't think they'd be the culprit.
