Rules updated.
Specifically, rule #7. I didn't want to do this, but it's just too much. If you guys can behave then I will take it down.

Welcome to the Clemson Sports Car Club Forum.

ALL FORUM MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO READ AND UNDERSTAND THE FORUM RULES.

In order to gain posting privileges you must first fill out your profile completely. Once you have done so, moderators will activate your posting privileges within 24 hours. If this doesn't happen, E-mail a Moderator to get your posting privileges activated. Also feel free to E-mail any of them for help in this process. We do this to make the forums feel more like a community with real people instead of just a place where screen names talk to each other.
This is an forum open to the public, however we will NOT tolerate immature and uncivil behavior towards others here. Only 1 warning will be provided to those with this type of behavior. Use of this forum is a privilege and should be treated as such.

1) Above all else, show respect for others and act like a mature adult.
It's our duty as a club to ensure that we act as responsible and mature adults. This includes not only posts on our forum, but also how we act in our surroundings.

2) Clemson Sports Car Club DOES NOT CONDONE any illegal activity, posting of videos of illegal activity or organization of illegal activity. All threads deemed to break this rule will immediately be deleted and the creator will be temp banned for 1 week.

3) Absolutely no postings of a sensitive nature. This means no nudity, racial slurs/jokes...
Don't post anything you wouldn't want your boss, mother, priest, or significant other to see.

4) No personal attacks of any nature. This means, no cursing at anyone, no terrorist threats. No exemptions!
OK: "I just put my Hoosiers on, you're going down this weekend :-)"

NOT OK: "You suck, you're never going to be good, go away..."

5) No cursing in any forum thread titles.

6) No excessive use of profanity in any forum.

7)No posts that clearly attempt to derail a thread or intentionally cause trouble. ie, trolling, excessive name calling, etc.

8 ) All new members must visit the New Members section and read the guidelines for posting before making posts. We also strongly recommend you introduce yourself in this forum so that we can all get to know a little bit about you before talking about other things.
If you're a new member, we have no idea if you're a beginner looking for more info, or someone that's been racing for 40 years that we should all shut up and listen to. Please use the "New member" section as an opportunity for us to get to know you quickly.

If you see that a rule has been broken, please contact a moderator and quote the supposed offense and offender.

* i think .....you missed out where I warned people about the quality of some low-end suspension products, which is apparently horribly out of line.

Sam, get over it. We know you were trying to be helpful to a certain extent, but this rule will keep both you and I in check so that we don't clutter up threads as we have in the past.

Summary:

I posted a FS thread about a decent E30.

Broach stated he thought it would be nice to slap an Ebay turbo kit on it. He would trade his 00 328 for it...kiddingly (I hope) Wink

Ross went off about how bad Ebay turbo kits are...

Sam stated that Meagan coilovers are junk.

Ross...Sam...Ross...Sam.

I then said that I was going to buy it put Megan crapovers and the Ebay turblo kit and trade for 00 328.

A lady got mad Ted beautifully summed things up and thread got locked down.

I wish I could think that it would have ended there, but I doubt it would have...

Rob did the right thing...

Moderator is not a fun job and you do what you feel is right... realizing it might have been nothing or it might have been a flame war tied directly to the appearance of the Four Horsemen.

I appreciate him being willing to do it.
