Thanks Chase,
I am working on two novels. If I was writing just for you...I would send you a PM. then you could decide if you wished to post it or not. You are funny ... Lol

I'll try to stand behind what I say in the future. Short and sweet... anything else your majesty? We are all here just for you and to give YOU what you want. Just let us know... more attention is available at any time you feel needy.

Tkskbye

You feel the need to directly insult me because i pointed out your fatal flaws. Interesting...

I simply ask that you keep your posts to a few lines. Half the time no one even reads the posts but skip to the responses to see what other people are saying.

I try to keep a cool head and i get this... lovely.

I dont know if you phrased that wrong but here is what i heard "If you make me mad i have power and you dont so your banned because i couldn't resolve the problem a better way".

When the police officer pulls you over and gives you a verbal warning, you don't then tell him to go screw himself.

Usually after I roll up the window. But then I realize most cops are losers and go on my way.

You did a pretty terrible job dodging the actual point of Chase's post. But I'm not surprised you don't have anything better to add.

Honestly, I do agree with this. While I do value free speech, there are differences between respectful disagreements and flat out disrespect. If someone was to go around bashing the people who are working their butt off for this club and make things happen, then the entire club slowly will start to take sides and be torn at the seams.

And when I say people who work their butts off to make things happen, I mean EVERYONE (regardless of "sides"). NOBODY should be talked about in a disrespectful manner. There are people on both "sides" that have done great things recently, and I believe all of them are worthy of some respect.

Again, talking disrespectfully towards the people in charge promotes far too much chaos where there doesn't need to be... by my views of it, if you want things to change/don't like how things are run, run for a position when elections come to pass.

That's my $0.02.

Raise of hands, who honestly wants to be in my shoes right now? I'm being 100% serious. Before anyone says anything, consider this. In the time I've been President (not including the work as a member with the car show last year). I spend ATLEAST a few hours, more than this recently, doing things club related a day. This doesn't all includ going on the forums so save that excuse. When I decided to run, you know how many people ran against me. NONE. Want to know why? Because the previous president and officers had so many stones thrown at them for so long by people on here, they got tired of it and everyone else saw that and was smart enough to know not to run for office. I sincerely hope that someone decides to become the president next semester and is willing to put in the time and effort that I have put in. Unfortunately, as I've said many times, it's easier to be a part of the crowd and complain about why things aren't easy or why we can't have this or that. It's much harder to stand up and say enough is enough. I can either sit here and mope or I can try to change things and make them the way I want them. I doubt anyone hear can say they love this club more than I. This statement is not to sound cocky by any means. It's to show people how serious I am.

Oh my god. Is your ego really that big? You are not officers of the law. You have a little button that says ban. You dont have a gun or a badge.

Please for the sake of the reputation of the officers of this club that actually here and trying to make this club better never compare them to an real police officer.

That post is fail of the year.

Ross i argue with you but have a ton of respect for what you have done for this club. I have expressed this in the past also.

I couldn't be president as i PMed Ryan earlier cause i couldn't make the time commitment.

Ross, you're right on. Despite my feelings about your constituent leadership on this forum, I give you all credit for getting the club where it is today. The car show last year was great, and you've pushed through a lot of great things. However, to the detriment of the club, previous leaders haven't been as open to new ideas and activities, which is largely to blame for why the club has such limited membership now. Whomever takes the reigns next year has a big job ahead of them.

I'd love to be in office as well but like Chase said I really don't think I'd have the time to put into it like you have Ross. You've helped this club out more than anybody else combined recently. I'm more than willing though to run for vp or the others.

I'll run for president.

I'm not going to say I'm the most connected/experienced/gifted person in the world with the hottest/fastest/most modified car, but I'd like to think that I'm fair, very open to new ideas (especially for events), and am willing to work with people on a few things.

This isn't an easy job, and if elected, I'm definitely going to need the help and guidance of everyone else in the club.

Guys, I really do appreciate the support. But really, as you already could guess, I'm not here for people to praise me or pat me on the back (although it is nice to feel appreciated). I'm here to make this club better and have events for us to do. Events DO NOT just include Autox. Even though I tell people we have autoxd as a club since the early 70s, we as a club are more importantly here to provide a positive outlet for people to learn about cars and share the comradery that comes with it. We have had people in the past make this club out to be primarily an autox club, but in meeting people and talking I realized, as much as I love autox, that's not the only thing you can do. I've tried to do as much as I can to make this club as welcoming to all forums of car interests.... even people with dubs (Ryan, you know what I'm talking about ... be nice Big Grin ). Not everyone feels the same way about autox, car shows etc.. and unfortunately some on here express their opinion in a either mean or disrespectful way. Can I control this? No. But I try to remind them to be nice and realize that it's not just all about one specific thing. Which leads me to a greater point. If this club is to include all types of car interests, then we need members to step up and make events happen. The officers don't have all the time in the world to devote to making events happen every week. We pick priorities and then try to push others to make events happen. Sadly, people can't or won't find the time and then the club unfortunately to some appears to be a club that only does whatever the officers make happen.

Excuse the rambling, but hopefully some meaning can be taken from this.

I believe he got a warning for some stupid reason the cop made up. I know he didn't get a ticket.
