In the Shelby during my track day, I didn't have much of a problem heel and toeing. I was doing it just like that video you posted, with the ball of my foot on the brake and kicking the throttle with the outstep of my foot. I had the GoPro on the inside for one session that showed me going through the gears. (If my boss ever finishes editing those vids, I'll post them) I actually had a hard time with the 2-3, but that just was from either going to fast or overestimating the throw. You'll find that on a track it's a ton easier to heel and toe, because you're going further into the pedal travel on the brake. In autocross or on the street, you don't really get enough brake down to really do it that easily. The SN197 pedals are alot closer together, so I'll do it into parking lots and things like that for fun sometimes, but it was much much easier to do on track.

"heel toe"-ing in my car is so easy its not even funny btu then again, by brake and gas pedals have less than an inch of space between then i think.... so in reality with my big feet i actually just have my foot as a slight angle and have the toe on the brake and the entire right hand half of my shoe on the gas.

and kinda a pointless maneuver, but getting a perfect j turn where you get it into first and never stop moving.
course then again i usually just have problems getting the full 180, i usually come up at about 170 and the car stops.
so frustrating...

oh, and topping out second on an auto x course (2nd gear goes to 72mph...)

having a size 15 foot means that any car is easy to HT for me... I do it in the z and a lot people claim its near impossible to do in it...

merrell clogs are the best driving shoe for the volvo....but the super heavy gas pedal still makes HT a challenge

I'm too big to do it the right way in the miata. My legs hit the steering wheel and my feet dont have enough room. So I have half the ball of my foot on the brake and the other half blips gas

Well, the way in which it is less likely for my foot slip off the brake and onto the accelerator...
