Quote:Yep. Flyers help. That's how I found about last April's car show. The flyer was on a Mini Cooper S in front of Long.

If someone posts up the flier for this autocross on the forum, I'll print it out and stick it on my car's window when I park at school. others could do the same. You never know, it might help.

I will be registering for sure once I get my paypal working again. Does anyone have a spot I can put my spare tire for the day?

Also, I have a first aid kit velcro'd to the carpet in my trunk (it does NOT move... I've tried Tongue) and a small tool kit that fits under the passenger seat or in the footwell behind my seat. Will it be OK to leave these in there?

Anything loose needs to come out. And you can leave your spare tire on the ground next to the spot your car would be in.

So velcro'd in isn't secure? And I'll just put the tool kit out with the spare tire (I dont go anywhere without it). Thanks for the heads up.

It'll take you all of a minute to pull it out and it'll prevent any potential incidents. I'd say pull it out.

I just registered myself in NXD. I'll register my dad after I hear back from him about joining CSCC or not.

Youll see when you get there, people unload their cars in the parking paddock. Its a fairly safe event as far as crime goes. Dont just leave cameras/electronics sitting around though.

Youll see piles of tires, tools, air pumps, shoes all on top of trunk mats or driver side carpet.

Youll be fine man.

I'm all registered, NXF FTW.

Time to get my ass handed to me my Zach again. ;-)

I just registered myself in NXD. I'll register my dad after I hear back from him about joining CSCC or not.

I completely strip EVERYTHING out of my car... reducing all the weight makes a huge difference, my car accelerates faster and is much more responsive to driver inputs. I also hate if any little thing is rattling around. Honestly, you look into my trunk at an autocross, it's just bare sheet metal.

I'm one of the people that just leave's all my shit on the ground, even though a lot of it can be really expensive. I tend to hide it in bags... which could be pretty easy to steal lol. I just trust in the good will of the people and that people come to the events to merely enjoy cars, not steal people's stuff. :-P

But yeah... definitely remove EVERYTHING you can from your car.

Also, my brother is coming to this event(and will be driving), as well as several other friends of mine.

don't forget your brother needs to take off his hub caps, hopefully not with a crowbar this time.
