New tires for the civic
Well i have been driving on a set of KUMHO spt 205/50/15 tires for 3 years now and need to replace them. I really liked them but the price has gone up about $30 a tire sense i bought them. Does anyone have any recommendations on tires?

I have 205/50/15 on my 93 civic, I replaced some very worn Kumho 711s with AST's. Basically feels the same to me as the 711s. I like the tire a lot, and for the price its hard to beat. I will always stick with Kumho, Absolutely love their tires.

ast's kind of suck, but last forever.

the SPT is noticeably better than the AST.

i believe the SPT has been discontinued.
where have you even found it in stock?

there are probably 10 solid choices for 205/50/15 tires.

are you looking for performance, long-life, or something in between?
preference on price including shipping?

The tires are going to be for everyday driving with maybe some light autocross duty. I need them to be cheap and kind of sticky and not wear out to fast. And discount tire has the spt in stock but they didn't even know if they could get them last month.

i have been super happy with my sumitomo htr 400's. i used to go thru a set of tires about every year. i am now on 2 years with these tires and they grip just as good if not better than my bfg sports. nice and quite and very good in the rain. i have yet to try the falken's but i read great things about them and are probly a great choice for you.
