i'm pretty sure that you don't have to have a parent sign a waiver unless you are under 16.
you should be good to go Cool

Don't want to speak for the officers, but I would expect any minors ( under 18 ) would need to have a waiver signed in order to drive in an event. This is how it has worked in the past at CSCC and SCCA events I have worked.

That said, the club needs to keep new blood coming in, so welcome! I drive an old BMW myself. I assume you've also checked out some BMW forums?

your young man, make good decisions now, it seems hard, and boring, but it will be worth it...

i regret a lot of what i did in cars at that age.

the neon runs 17psi (most the stock MAP and TIP sensors can see)... last dyno put down 260 whp and 325 wtq... VERY VERY crappy tune, on my new tune which is still working out all the tweeks it should look more like 290whp and 300wtq with a much smoother powerband curve! but i haven't dynoed it yet, as its still being tweaked but, ive been working more on my 300zx project car.

you should probably drive slower, accelerate slower, etc... not playing "dad" but if you paid your own insurance you would think twice when you at a red light getting ready to take off.

post up some pics of that car man!

Some enthusiasts get hung up on numbers, but most of them don't matter a whole lot until you start getting into a competition. It's one of those zen things, but you can have a lot of fun learning to enjoy the car more just the way it sits. Your car's numbers are not that bad to begin with!

I'm not quite sure you could add the hp of my three lowest-powered cars I've ever owned and get 200...
