Need help with NASA Classification
Good Morning Everyone,

The guys who have been around know me, I am Max and I will be attending the autocross this weekend. The vehicle I will be driving is a 1980 Royal RP31. It is a Formula Ford and quite the rocket ship. However I do not know what NASA classification the Formula Ford falls under. Can anyone help determine this?

BTW, here is a photo of said car.

Thanks Everyone!

-Max

This will probably have to be classed under the Power to Weight rules.
Do you know how much power it is putting to the wheels and how much it weighs?

Fire retardant gloves also work for taking hot pans or dishes out of the oven Smile

Its in TTR/whatever unlimited NASA-X class. Tube frame, scratch built = do not pass go, do not collect $200 without a very special waiver to allow it in TTS/ST2 or TTU/ST1. Technically its not even legal for TT or WTW with NASA being open wheeled (though if you had enough for their own run group it would be allowed).

you'd be either B-Mod or A-Mod with SCCA and those are damn near fully open, so being in the fully unlimited NASA-X class makes sense Cool

Uh huh...

I am trying to sign up for the autocross in two days and it asks for a class. Does it matter which one I pick?
