I don't really think that he's like Hitler, but there're people running around my dorm room and people on TV screaming and celebrating over his win. Maybe I never paid enough attention, but this seems to be a lot more about Obama and how great he is than the United States and who would make a good president.

We'll see what happens.

on topic though, not that it mattered, but i voted for obama, waited freaking 2.5 hours at my precinct, but it was my first presidential vote, and it was cool.

whether you voted for mccain, obama, or other, we are all part of the group of Americans that elected the first African American pres.

Like I said though, if the predictions prove to be true then we have reached a great moment in america. But wait, what about those "Black Bush" skits on Chapelle Show? What are they going to do now? "I'm tryin' ta get dat oil,...hoil, hoil...." "Don't drop dat yellow cake!!.... in the CIA napkin..."

I'm very optimistic somehow and hope that we can get rid of or at least make it clear to all politicians that this whole, "whats best for my little spec on the map" philosophy is not going to help me get Social Security when I turn 65, and fix all these american problems. That seems to be one of the biggest problems most of all imho.

BTW, Jesse Jackson is crying on tv. I guess he's mad bc now he knows he wont be able to cut of Obama's balls cuz he'll have permanent secret service. Lol

2. If race was not an issue in this election why did fox news just spend the last 10 minutes talking about black/white and race and arent done yet

3. Can we remove the race card out of the deck now?

2. Wait wat? did we just watch the same speech? Mccain just wanted to support obama as his next president, dont think he was talking about race much . Did he even make a comment about obama being the first "black" president of america?

I'm pretty sure he went on about how it's not been long since the 60s and that America has come very far since then. Same thing.
