RE: CC2
Ah yeah great to see the car living again! Felt so bad seeing it sit in the garage. I drove it once a week around the neighborhood and all the sudden one day it didn't want to go out. Looked around and poked, but it wasn't my car so I didn't try to fix it...not like I knew what I was doing with a carburetor anyway. It had been sitting for about two years. Great job getting it running again...looking forward to seeing it in action!

RE: CC2
Quick question... I have a friend who is the Band Director at Wren High School. He told me about a year ago he had an RX7 sitting outside at his mom's house in Asheville... white... good body...yada yada. I ran into him at a wedding last Saturday and he told me he had sold it to a past student a while back. Anyone know if this is Bruce Caldwell's old RX7?

IF the engine is not giving HP and carb tuning is not bringing it back...
1.) Let's talk to Hampton and see what he can do with carb

2.) I know this nasty formula that makes rotary seals feel SWELL ... Wink

Understeer is when you hit the mountain with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the mountain with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the mountain, torque is how far you move the mountain.

Heyyy now i went to wren. I didn't know mr. caldwell was in to cars. Anyway if you can ask him, see if he sold it to Brandon Jennings. That is who gave it to us. I'm not sure if he went to Wren but he is a bet older then me.

RE: CC2
Hey Coop! Wren ..eh? Yes... Bruce and I started racing together in the mid 80s. He ran hillclimbs and track events, restored two Sunbeam Alpines... one he still owns is full race prepped but he doesn't run it often. He also has a Fiat 124 (Black) he owned forever and kept immaculate, sold it to a student, bought it back in rough shape 6 years later, and restored it again. He bought a miata last year for fun driving but he has been so busy with Band and all. He is retiring next year I understand... GREAT guy and he has a real love for sports cars.
