Meeting Minutes 11/30/11

Due to time constraints and lack of open venues we will unfortunately have to cancel the last autocross. We have decided to not worry about getting a last minute event thrown together and instead focus on getting back on campus and getting more events going for next semester. We want to make sure that we can get every issue solved before jumping into another event. We hate to do this but we feel that this is necessary in order to work on the club's image throughout the University.

The December 11th autocross will be replaced by a CMP karting day. We will be taking toys as payment for each round of racing you want to do (10 minute sessions). We will set up a time for people get together and bring the toys. If you would like to go and need a ride there will be plenty of open seats. Check the announcement section for more info.

There is also some chatter among some of the members about getting a group together to go to the Charlotte autocross on Dec 10th. --->Event Thread<---

Last but not least...

WE HAVE NEW CLUB CAR!!!
Through an unexpected coincidence we have received a signed title and a set of keys to another RX7 (FREE OF CHARGE!!!). As stated before we will not start planning what to do with it until we can get some events laid out for next semester. We discussed the possibility (before trouble with campus lots) of having a tame club car for less experienced drivers and another car more suited for those with more skill.

It's the one in the classifieds. Ryan, this is the same car you came to see. It is in great condition, the carb's got some minor problem but other than that it is a really clean (mechanically) car. Has somewhere around 75-80k miles on it. Zach, this is the car I passed up that I was asking you questions about a month or so ago...2 too many projects going already.
