The diesel needs all the support it can get in the US though, and what better company to buy from than one that both understands the current state of automotive drivetrains and how they relate to the environment and caters to the driving enthusiast. I'm skeptical about buying a new car in general, but if they bring a manual transmissioned diesel over here I will be the first one to give it a serious look. We'll see.
