Meeting Minutes 10/26/11

The meeting this week was focused mainly on the upcoming autocross. Most of what was gone over was aimed towards the new members and what to expect on the day of. Don't worry if you are new and missed this meeting, any officers or older members are more than willing help you figure out where to be at the event. Don't hesitate to ask anyone if you are confused, we don't bite! Be sure to remember that you still have to check in on site before registration closes even if you have pre-registered online. There were many concerns about online registration. If you were a previous member and have paid this years/semesters dues then your old member number will now work in the registration. If you are a new paying member pm Steve(stevebullitt on the forums) with your email and first and last name and he will get you your member number. I understand there are some issues with selecting the on-site payment option, these issues should be resolved soon. If anyone still continues to have issues registering online just pm one of the officers or shoot us an email (clemsonsportscarclub@gmail.com) to let us know you are coming and you will not be charged the $5 on-site registration fee.

We had a WONDERFUL presentation from the always entertaining and informative Ted Theodore. He really has some great advice to give. THANK YOU TED!!!

We are all very excited about the event next weekend and we look forward to a good turnout!

Thanks for inviting me to speak. I wish I could join you for the autocross next week but I'll be in Alabama racing the Formula car and instructing at little Talledega TGPR. I wish you great success and for you first time autocrossers... relax and have a blast!
