Pic is relevant.

If anyone wants to watch polo instead of Senna you're welcome to come along to Emory.

Hi. I like V8s.

It obviously take ball to play that sport...

Understeer is when you hit the mountain with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the mountain with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the mountain, torque is how far you move the mountain.

RE: SENNA - to show in Greenville!!!!
I've only got one thing to say about this...

Also, a quick check at IMDB shows nothing currently scheduled to release on Wednesday the 26th, so Senna should be at the Camelot at least through Thursday the 27th.

RE: SENNA - to show in Greenville!!!!
Guys/ Gals ...

Hollywood pumps fairytale romances, supernatural monsters that defy laws of gravity, nature and common sense and create a meaning of entertainment which seems "It can't be a pleasure to watch unless it is practically impossible." We are surely a year or two away from movie plots where a guy gets ditched at the altar Tuesday, his parents die in a fiery airplane terrorist attack on Wednesday, he wins the $38 Mil SC Education lottery on Thursday, Friday... he gets hit by a strange glowing meteor which gives him superpowers and makes him irresistible to women but also makes him impotent, etc., etc.

SENNA is one of the greatest films I've ever seen. It's not Hollywood.... it's much more of a documentary with clips from family and friends, reporters that were there... scenes of Ayrton on a boat with family, seeing tragedies happening live on camera, working with his team manager, arguing with race stewards over obvious prejudice, watching him make incredible passes in poorly handling cars, funny interviews, preparing for races, seeing him at the peak of happiness and at the depths of despair ready to walk away from racing. You will HATE Alain Proust half way through the movie... and that will change at the end of the movie. Three quarters of the way through the movie, you will hate F1 stewards and unsafe conditions... and at the end, you will be proud of what they have done in the last twenty years.

It has more meaning to me than it may to others because I remember. I got up with my dad at 4 and 5 AM and watched many of the races they show. I read the articles and I watched his career soar. But all I knew was pieces of the puzzle that this movie put together. If I asked each of you to define in 20 words what racing is all about... our definitions would vary greatly yet all be accurate. When you walk out of this movie, you will have a different definition and better understand what drives men and women to race at that level, what they risk and what they gain. The truth is this... the money, the trophies, the celebrity, the adrenalin, the thrills... we as spectators and racing enthusiasts are the winners, not the drivers.

Towards the end of his career, there is an interview where Ayrton is asked who was his favorite driver to race against. There are so many to choose from ... Schumacher, Mansell, Proust... an incredible list. What did he choose? A guy he raced carts with when he was 18... because there was no money, no media, no politics... just pure passion and joy of racing. If you have several racing heroes, after this movie, Senna will be on your list.

It has been a LONG LONG time since a decent racing movie came out... this one was awesome. PLEASE go see it while you can at the Camelot... make time for it. You will be glad you did. Thank the theater manager for having it and send a thank you email to Max Shaffer at Lotus of Greenville for making this movie showing possible in Greenville. shaffer2002@cs.com
