yea i had that same thought too but i guess it's minimal. perhaps it created more turbulence if mounted that way since the air flow directly behind the wing is important to. all i could find in this article is " 'Swan wing' mounts provide more surface area beneath the wing, improving downforce."

I think the porsche way is best.
(uprights on the sides. so that it doesnt interupt flow and keeps it in the plane of the wing. 2010 Chevy Silverado 5.3l Crew Cab. 2012 Mustang V6 Missed but not forgotten: 2006 350z Track. 1987 Porsche 944S. 1994 Geo Prizm. |
