Hall Program - Need a CSCC Representative!
Hey guys,

I am a resident assistant in Holmes Hall on campus, and I'm hosting a hall program about how students can get involved in motorsports and the auto industry at Clemson. We'll be having pizza in the Holmes basement at 5:30 this Friday, and having a few organizations talk about what they do. Afterwards we're going to Anderson Motor Speedway to watch the races that night. I am looking for a representative from CSCC to come talk to the students about the club. Maybe bring a poster or some fliers, or just come to answer questions. If you're interested in promoting CSCC to a group of students on campus, please e-mail me at krbrown@clemson.edu. I'd really appreciate the help, and whoever comes gets pizza and a ticket to the race if you want to come!

Thanks,

Kenny Brown

Interested... Would like to pick up the CSCC shirt I won before then. I was an RA in Stadium last year. I don't have any other materials though.

Get with Nate, Kellan, or Zack about the shirt... all of the shirts are at their apartment. They can bring one to the meeting Wed or meet you wherever.

We'll all be gone for a wedding this weekend or I would be glad to help :/

Maybe just take a laptop and show some videos, the forums etc. We don't have any fliers printed but it wouldn't take long to put one together.

I have a shirt still, I need to return it Lol

Kenny, good luck! I was an RA in Byrnes '08-'09, it was a fantastic job. I couldn't get anyone interested in cars though, unfortunately. Made my "programming" easier though, so long as my RD thought I was trying (and I was), I could just throw up posters to CSCC events and invite people and that was enough.

I may be going to the VT game, but if I don't I'll definitely come by. Smile

Anyone want to bring fliers on Wednesday? Otherwise I'll throw something together. Any chance we'll know when our first autox is by then? Otherwise I can mention it as something that we do and that we're still trying to put together for this fall, besides that we do drag racing, SCCA, NASA, scenic drives, install days, etc etc. And our fundraiser, and anyone can come ride along at autox's. I'll just grab an officer Wed and go over a few things. Steve you're welcome to join lol

Steve, any other officers or members coming? Also, are there any flyers or anything I can pick up from some of the officers? Any rough guess of when we might be having an autox? I'll mention Petit as well, just another awesome thing we do.

It's a shame that the officers can't be there (I'm gone to VT and the rest are off to a wedding). We are working on an autocross and have a meeting with parking services on next Friday. I'm shooting for the weekend of the 22nd as the event date. Do mention Petit and that we are going to get together to go to the BMW event on the 15th and 16th.

Unless the new officers made some, there are none. Not stopping you from making some up yourself though Mike Wink
