We've gone down that path before...the nice thing about it being students though is, of course, that the members go in and out in a just a few years, so maybe they'd be more helpful by now.

Heh, been there, done that. Student Government is pretty ineffectual.

The only way we got any results when I was president was by talking with Gail DeSabitino, the VP of Student Affairs. If you try to talk to Barker, you're going to get referred to her (ask me how I know).

Allocating the budget for student organizations is all that SG is really good for. They have next to no pull with the administration, at least in regards to the Club's perennial problem. I went to them when I was fighting Geary. I wasted time, breath, and energy hoping that SG could help advocate for us with the administration.

You can at least say that yes we will be autocrossing on campus, we just have to get everything else set for the first one, which tenativly is on Nov 6th.
