New to the US, to Clemson, excited!

Hello everyone,
I'm Shreyas Venkataraju. Most people find it hard so you could just refer to me with my initals S.V!
I'm from a place called Mysore, India.

I've always been an auto enthu, been mostly a bike guy since they were more accessible back home. Waited a long time before I got my first bike, a 1986 Yamaha RD350, took me over a year to restore it. Took up another project, a 1987 Jawa 350, which I built from scratch, pretty proud of it, coz I dint think I could be able to do it when I was half way through

Its no surprise that i am an auto enthu, since I've taken up automotive engineering at ICAR for my Masters program. After coming here, I think I'm going to be turning into a car person, LOVE the cars here in the US. You guys here are so lucky, wish we had atleast half the kinda cars you all have here!

Anyway, enough now, being my first post here! Hope to catch you all on wednesday for the first meet, I'd love to get to know a person or two before that, since I am new to the school and to the country too, would help me in not feeling out of place when I get there!

Thank you all! Im glad you guys have the meet t 8 pm, since i do not own a vehicle here an i have class till 5 on wednesday. Hopefully i will be on time to catch the shuttle to Clemson from Icar after and get back the following morning straight to class.

so long as your fine with riding in a large ass truck listening to techno/old rock/easy listening etc... I can give you a ride.

I wont be staying ultra late though. Probably 8-9 then heading back.
