I've got to autocross the Boxster soon, Winston Salem isn't too far for me anymore. Will you be there Ted?

Not sure how that 24 hour thing works though. Celebrating a friend's 21st that Friday and Saturday, looks like it might not be worth it to drive up just for Sunday if it's over by noon.

RE: First Friday Parade? First AX of the Season?
Ted, I've contacted the organizers for the parade and have yet to hear back from them. The parade is on the 2nd and I've got a pretty good idea of what to do for it. As for the autocross, I don't know if you were aware that the University has hired out the management of the lots to a private contractor. I'm going to meet with the new director next week and see about getting us a schedule as soon as I can. The fact that the first 4 games are at home will make it a little challenging, but I'll keep everyone in the know as soon as I do. I hope to have 4 events this semester, one each month would be ideal. My major goal is to have the 4th be the first Saturday in December and do the Toys for Tots once again. I want that to be annual and be bigger than last year!

RE: First Friday Parade? First AX of the Season?
I thought of this last night but we should have a BBQ like we did last year in the beginning. It was a really good idea to get everyone together in a very low stress situation. I saw we should do it again.

RE: First Friday Parade? First AX of the Season?
I posted up elsewhere, but the only thing paved in C1 was the perimeter where Green/Blue route buses drive. Not sure if we were told that autox'ing would mess up their pavement but that shouldn't be the case.

RE: First Friday Parade? First AX of the Season?
^Still nothing yet....I'll be calling again this week. I'm not broken up about it if we miss out, but I'm going to give it a good shot to try and get in. I want to focus on keep autocrosses on campus. I think that overall having the air filled with the roar of engines around campus gets more attention than having a couple of us in the parade trying to compete with the soroties and their endless cheering

If you guys didn't ask to be in the parade months ahead of time, you won't get in. This has happened the last 2 years in a row. I miss the revving
