Some autocross tech help
I have been getting the running works on this Z in shape and almost there. I have a universal joint that is past its prime left but want to make sure before I come to an event this car is ready. Its 35 years old so I am aware more tech may be needed. Can someone meet me somewhere to look over the Z for a pre tech inspection? Could do it for lunch, beverages etc?

Thanks!

Battery secure, brakes keep pressure, and the suspension feels solid when "kicking the tires" is about all we check for. If you've got those 3 down, just don't show up with corded or dry rotted tires and you should be good.

Yep. You'll want to make sure the engine isn't about to blow too, but it's a bit hard for us to check for that.

Its running fine and that has been my main focus, but you never know when it might decide to pop. L28e's are usually robust. Brakes cooling engine have been checked and maintained and soon change the oil in the diff and swap out a ujoint or 2.
