Been a long time since I've been on and posted... Just curious - where can I view the old pictures and videos from the CSCC forum from years ago? Used to be able to cheat the system a little bit and hit the ESC key to stop the site from loading when the old site appeared. Now it looks like it's gone. Any suggestions?

Current admin's scoff the old site. Nevermind that some of us loved it as it was...

Despite what some think and say, I actually like having the old site around. We made the change out of necessity, not because we didn't like the old one, and while we were at it switched to a new system that's actually manageable from an administrative standpoint and easier to use from a general user standpoint for most people.

You used to be able to do clemsonscc.com/<some path here> and get to the old content, I'm not sure why that redirects now. Regardless, the people that run (ran?) the old server were unreliable, as was the server itself. It is (was?) only a matter of time before it goes down for good...but who knows, it might pop back up again.

CLUG has shut the servers down. We were unable to get anything off the server, because we were never able to contact them.

So, straight four, had we left the old site alone, CSCC would currently be without a website. The server went down sometime last semester without a trace. No backup, no administrative contact, nothing.

CLUG probably shut it down thanks to thelusiv. (he held the domain name and probably told them he is not using the server anymore.)

I will agree that the site not disapearing over the last year has been nice. I just liked the old format and get yelled at when I ask for it. :shrug:

it was also to poke you with a stick... There were quite a few VERY informative threads on that old board. Some pertaining to suspension setups and how to set up courses.

I have a copy of all the old threads that was available at http://cscc.humjaba.com/ but it appears as if something has broken. I'll get it fixed soon. The threads are saved, the pictures were not.
We've been through all this before. Sorry Tyler, but unless someone from CLUG magically appears with a backup of the server, it is likely that those pictures are gone forever.

For those feeling nostalgic, I have gone through a great deal of trouble to put up the old website.

It is on my personal webserver because 1and1 can't import SQL files that large.
