Fall schedule
Hey I was just wondering if the officers started to talk at all about the fall schedule. I mainly ask because having the first autocross of the semester as early as possible always helps. The best would be having the horseshoe display the same day as the first meeting then having an autocross that weekend. It would be really good to get the ball rolling on this because it looks like the end of the first week of the semester would be that timeframe.
Also I was wondering about if I could get a good deal for a Dyno Day at DDMWorks if people would be interested in going? it is only about half an our away. Would be something fun to do on a weekend. ![]() RE-11's "Off the shelf" suspension DIYPNP megasquirt Exhaust + Launch Control = GOOOOOD http://www.DDMWorks.com |

RE: Fall schedule
Here is what I can tell you so far:
School begins on August 24th with the first football game coming that following Saturday. I haven't looked a the full football schedule yet, but obviously that will affect what dates we can get. The largely unknown quantity at this point is that the lots are all being repaved and will not be finished until the first of August at the earliest. I've called Parking Services a couple of times in the past few weeks and they haven't been very helpful. The University has bid the parking management out to a private contractor and the change of administration hasn't taken place yet. They won't give me any details because they are all about to be replaced. I'll call again next week which is when I think the change takes place. I'll keep everyone posted as soon as I know something more. RE: Fall schedule
hmm, hopefully they understand that we are a funded university club.

RE: Fall schedule
Glad someone is actually working on it. Don't forget about the other officers, Steve.

RE: Fall schedule
Thanks for the update Steve. I thought the paving was done and I wasn't aware of the change in management.

I'm not sure whether or not I should be the jerk and correct Zach's grammar.

RE: Fall schedule
If parking services is truly being outsourced then I would suggest to start looking for plan B's. Just like Dave said, new administration = more red tape; we can hope that the new people working in parking services will be better but chances are that will not be the case...
Has anyone sent an email to Dave (or w/e his name was) about the Anderson lot? I know the club has enough money to run an Anderson autocross if you have to, and getting things setup early might be cheaper. ![]() Clemson '11 |
