RE: CMP Karting Rematch
Sorry for the lack of info guys!!!!!! The track hasn't been communicating well, but I went up there today and can assure you that we ARE expected for the kart track and we WILL be having this event. Here is who I have coming so far
Me
My girlfriend
Kellan
Nate
Kat
Swords
Will+6
Ross

That gives me a total of 14, so please bring anyone you would like to have come. The first 6 other than the ones above to have $60 can ride with us. I'll give more info on the exact time, but the SCCA will be using the track at some point during the day. I'll give you a more definite time by Thursday, but be prepared to come any where from 12 to 6.

RE: CMP Karting Rematch
I will for sure be attending. Do I need to also bring dues for the Clemson SCC since I'm not a paying member yet? This will be my first event/meeting.

I didn't do this in the other thread, but welcome! We've got quite a few Z fans around and yours has quite a cool paint job I must say. This isn't really an official club event, it's one that I'm planning on my own, so no dues are necessary since I'm not having this one as members only. You're more than welcome to come and all you'll need is closed-toed shoes and $60 cash. Smile

To be clear to everyone, all you need to bring are closed-toed shoes and $60 cash. Helmets and neck braces are provided. I'm going to wear long pants and would recommend everyone does, but it's not a requirement. It's just better if you have an off so you don't have sand up your butt Lol

RE: CMP Karting Rematch
Okay guys, I'm sorry once again for the spotty commuication (my brother had knee surgery today....) but here's what we are looking at for Saturday:
As you all know, the SCCA is having a MASSIVE event this weekend. I had hoped to grab the track while they were busy, but it seems that plan was flawed. The SCCA has asked to be prepared for 80 of their guys to use the track. So, we won't have the track to ourselves, we can't do races, and you'll have to pay the standard rate of $20/10 min. However.....I think this will be a ton of fun if ya'll still want to come down, because we'll have a ton of competition against a bunch of the SCCA guys and we can check out the autocross at the same time. They are happy to have us anytime, so we can try and snag the track to ourselves at a later date. My phone number is 803-669-2742 if you have any more questions or feel free to PM me.

RE: CMP Karting Rematch
knee surgery is never fun... i know. ive had both knees operated on...

anyways what time do you want to meet there? If there are 80 of their guys using the track we should try to get there as early as possible to get as many runs in as possible. Is sunday going to be the same situation?

RE: CMP Karting Rematch
My understanding is that it will be both days with the same situation and what they told me is that while we won't get out there together as a group, we will get out there. They enjoyed having us last time and want us to keep coming back.
