An autocross on another university campus

An autocross on another university campus
I know that there has been a running interest, or at least used to be, of other schools that had clubs that ran their own events or allowed autocrossing on campus. Just throwing it out there that it seems another ACC school has joined the club:

Blue Ridge SCCA will be holding an autocross on the actual campus of Virginia Tech. I guess they can join the list as #3, behind us and Texas A&M. Anyone else know of other schools?

RE: An autocross on another university campus
I am still working some with Ian and USC club. They are still in need of a site.
NC State club still runs some events but mainly runs local SCCA events with all students pitted together with a tent. ( I still REALLY like this.)

There a couple of colleges up "NAwth"... Mich State and Indiana.... a few west coast schools USC and one other I can't remember name of.

Strange enough... it almost looks like its starting to grow a bit. That's good.

RE: An autocross on another university campus
I have been talking with a Carolina Mazdas person who goes to school at UNCC about getting autocrosses started on campus. I sent her a bunch of info and have been answering questions. I almost wish I had the time to spend with some students to give them all my info on how to get autocrosses started on (or in our case, back on) campus. Hopefully one day next semester I will be able to visit a UNCC autocross.

It feels really cool to be a pioneer at something like this. I expected a lot more schools to be getting into autocrossing on campus!

Michael, I know they at least used to hold events on an old Air Force airstrip the school bought/was given. That was only a couple of years ago, don't see why they wouldn't still.
