Ted E. Bayer - Hillclimbing Understeer is when you hit the mountain with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the mountain with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the mountain, torque is how far you move the mountain. |

Tell the powers that be or maybe a few big alums that GA Tech kicked everybody's butt last year at the GRM 200X challenge and A&M wasn't far behind. That sounds like a competition to me.

Bump. Apparently PCA holds autocrosses at one of Wake Forests' stadium parking lots. Money, connections, money, more conenctions...

James Madison University has had a club for years. In fact, NASA-Mid Atlantic had a great many JMU people working corners and grid.
Rob Summers made an attempt years ago to start some kind of inter collegiate sports car club association thing, but it didn't go far. I think he called it the National Collegiate Motorsports Council, or something. There used to be a forum set up, but the domain is gone now.
