1995 Cavalier Dirt Track Car – HP Tuners – E85 Dyno Tune
Todd brought us his dirt track car for a tune via HP Tuners. He had recently built the engine with a little higher compression ratio, and had been running un-tuned for a while. Todd was running C16 race fuel, hoping that the added octane would ease the excessive spark knock that was brought on by the higher compression. While the car was on the dyno, Todd decided to switch to E85. We installed a new Walbro 255 LPH fuel pump, filled the tank with E85, and got him on the rollers.

Here is the chart. The red chart is untuned, on C16 Race Fuel. The blue chart is the TDC Tune, on E85.

BTW..... I want to drive this. My inner redneck yearns for dirt track racing.

Yeah. The owner reports that the car even felt much stronger just pulling the car out of the shop and onto the trailer. I can't wait to see how it runs.
