89 CRX Si for sale

Hello everyone. We finally got around to posting the CRX for sale. It is a 89 CRX Si with 216K miles on it. We have had it for 2 years.

Good. Car has poly bushings in the suspension. Slightly larger rear sway bar. Engine runs really good. Never had any problems with the car at all only had to do basic maintenance. Engine pulls well. 35MPG on the highway. Comes with Pioneer radio with a USB plug, and Infinity kappa speakers. Timing belt is good until 250K miles. New axles were put in when we got it.


Bad. Burns about a quart of oil every 3K miles. Has the typical old honda rust spots. Heater works OK, pretty sure the thermostat is stuck open. AC did work really well but there is a leak, and we haven't gotten it refilled. It has a salvage title from hail damage you can see in the pictures. Heater controls are falling apart because of the plastic getting brittle, typical of old hondas.

Would make a good Autocross car or track car, or even a DD which is what we had it for. If we didn't have the new car we would still feel comfortable driving it for another 2 years at least. Any questions let me know.

just letting everyone know that we sold the car tonight. It went to a friend of ours, who heard about it from an old member of the club, Jeff K. Jaimie and I are happy it is going to a good home.
