Meeting Minutes 4/21/11
Hello everyone!
As this was our last meeting of this semester most of the discussion was focused on continuing with the success of this past year. CCSC is on a roll and we would like to keep it that way! -We would like for the club to have some kind of planned summer event. Maybe more CMP karting or attending an SCCA event as a group. If anyone else has any ideas please feel free to make suggestions! -Autocross attendance is improving and we would like to bring back the painters tape challenge to add a little more fun. Voting will be done by drivers and spectators at each event. The prize has not yet been decided on but possibly a free or discounted autocross. -We plan on having several more CCSC displays around campus like the horseshoe and library bridge to generate more interest in the club and events. -Meeting attendance has slowed down a bit so ideas for increasing that attendance were thrown around. Weekly car trivia and RC car races were among those ideas. Again this is open to any suggestions or ideas any of you may have. -Next Thursday we will close the semester with a final dinner meet. 7pm at Tony's. See you there! |

Not only weekly car trivia but weekly car trivia with a points race. Winning car trivia one day might be nice but winning the points race at the end of the school year along with the car show and autocross points race would be awesome.

So...I take it my idea of having Hooter's girls for CSCC trophy presentations was voted down.

You're normal.....I'm not because my first thought when seeing the second one was "Oooo.....a GT40 Replica! I want one with a 427"  I definitely think that we will do a points system for the trivia and I'll have different themes for each week.

Just a thought, since this Thursday will be the last "outing" of the semester and we have a lot of graduating seniors, maybe we should get a cake or do something to celebrate them?
