In case you haven't been there before make sure to get there early. You park in a line so if you are there late then you have to walk all the way to the front to register and all. I am planning on being there between 6:30 and 7.

Good call! I forgot about that. I was there 2-3 years ago and I remembered how much that stunk. And the fact the course exit is through the course which blows for the visiting spectator/friend.

Make sure you take wood to put under jacks/stands, they were very adamant about that stuff.

^^^ Right no metal to be in contact with the tarmac. This includes, but is not limited to: Jacks, jackstands, easy up poles, etc. Also all fluid spills need to be reported as well, regardless if they occur in grid, on course, or in paddock. Remember, it's not a parking lot, it's a testing surface.

Yeah, I got plywood for my trailer and jack. Do they still have the one way in crap? It sucks when you buddies would like to come watch but they get stuck during a run group waiting to leave.

Yeah, as far as I know, its still in effect. This is a Michelin imposed requirement, and IMO a small price to pay for use of the site.

I'll let ya know what the it is like in the rain. I know for a fact from a street survival that Black lake gets very slippery when wet.
