Hey Rob.. Welcome aboard.
NICE machine. Of course, I'm slightly biased... here's my DD.
Ted E. Bayer - Hillclimbing Understeer is when you hit the mountain with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the mountain with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the mountain, torque is how far you move the mountain. |

Spent more time on their line than I did on our line. Got pretty familiar with them and their engineering changes from day to day (literally. We used to say to get a part at Auto Zone, you will need model, year, month, day, shift and if it was before break or after break to make sure you got the right part.) I muddle through most of what has been needed so far. I have a friend in VA who is a factory certified BMW mech. HE comes down for a weekend when I have something major. We did the new top about a month ago. I'm good with Brit car tops and Miatas but... it sure is nice to have a PRO do it on a Z3. Let me know if there's anything specific.. be glad to help. Most common problems : seat rails on driver's side, air bag sensor light, seat sensor light, seat belt holder on sides of seats (I got a beauty of a trick on that.. heat shrink over broken pieces. A LOT cheaper than 350 to remove seat, seat back and replace with expensive OEM part.) and rear shocks. Ted E. Welcome. Do you happen to drive on 178 in the mornings? When I go to work and back I usually see a black M roadster. Nice car though.

RE: New guy also from spartanburg
im having a few of those problems theodore, the driver seat rail, the seat belt holders are almost falling off, but my main concerns right now are the heat and air doesnt work, the cruise wont work, and just a few aesthetic issues.
No zps I havent moved up all the way yet, i am just up usually visiting my gf. |

I think I saw you parked on the right side of the road coming from GSP back to campus today... M Roadster, don't see too many of those around. Very nice.
