Then oh wait, it JUMPS to 2/24 for the next meeting minutes.
Which at the time of your posting was a MONTH before I was complaining about no notes. Now if you meet twice a month. well stands to reason there would be more minutes now wouldnt there?

Spring break was in there too, believe that was a missed meeting for everyone. There's not usually that much weekly or even bi-weekly development. Autocross schedule usually is posted as soon as finalized, other events are organized and posted on the website. if more work on something needs to happen, its usually not at meetings, but behind the scenes. So I understand you want meeting minutes, but there's really a lot more info on here than at any of the meetings.

JediMaro and I just dont see eye to eye online. If you had posted like this I would never have gotten E-upset... ok E-hurt...

At the time I was checking fairly often, using the prescrived new posts button and never seeing a single meeting update...

Ken- I still think we should have hoisted one while I was in the area. Esp at St Arnold's. Your coming to Atlanta sometime right?

Prob the closest I'll be to that area in the next year is Mid-Ohio in Sept. Trimming the destination track trips to focus on a National Championship.

Hell. Yes.

Well, probably. But until it's ruled out, I'm gonna say...

RE: New Officers for 2011/2012 Year
http://www.clemsonscc.org/search.php?act...order=desc

There were 4 minutes posted in Spring, 5 in the Fall. We switched to bi-weekly meetings and had one meeting occur on spring break during the Spring semester so it was a month in between meetings for one time.

There might have been 1 time per semester where the minutes didn't get posted, we really didn't have that many meetings. Weekly was really killing our per meeting attendance. If we get more members, which according to how many have signed up on OrgSync (Clemson's new online organization database) this summer I would say we have a lot of new guys coming, then we just have to make the meetings interesting. It sounds like Steve has some plans on how to make this possible, so that should help keep people coming.

Please understand new officers, the first meeting is BIG. First meeting is after the horseshoe display, first friday and maybe even the organization fair. If we can get all three of those "marketing" opportunities then we will have a ton of people come to the first meeting. BE PREPARED. Whatever you have planned make sure it can accommodate at least 40 people, if not more. The first meeting is what will bring them back.

Even if you are not an officer you are still responsible for helping bring more members to the club. Don't be shy, go up and try to talk to a new guy (or gal). Just start asking questions, make them believe you are interested. Chances you will be because they are car people just like you. Every member of this club, even if you don't do anything the rest of the semester, should come out to one if not all the "marketing" opportunities, even if your car isn't in the parade/booth. You need to be out there to help talk to people. Freshman are very impressionable. If you can just show them you are a car person and this is a cool club then chances are they will come to an autocross, meeting, drag trip, whatever. Membership is our greatest strength. The more members we have the more presence we gain on campus, not to mention the extra income to do cool things like buy and maintain a badass club car.

I think you should do a cookout/car show again this year the weekend after the first meeting. Let newbs eat before you if you are getting close to running out of food. Just make them feel welcome. I thought the car show part was cool bc then we could sit around and look at everyone's car.

Just sayin...
