Need some bushings pressed!
Anybody know where I could get some bushings pressed for cheap/free? Or better yet does anyone have access to a press? Bought some poly bushings for my upper control arms (tired of replacing the garbage oem ones. common e34 problem) and need to get them pressed into the arms asap. Trying to get it done before the next autocross. Let me know!

RE: Need some bushings pressed!
Parts Plus in Pendleton will do it (sometimes they'll let you use the press)

RE: Need some bushings pressed!
I recall someone telling me that poly bushings for rotating joints are a bad idea. Anyone ever heard something like that? Poly has issues binding I believe.

RE: Need some bushings pressed!
Hmmm. Interesting. I've never heard of anyone having issues with installing poly bushings in my car. Not to say there haven't been any at all I've just never heard of anyone talking any. Why would poly bushings have more tendency to bind than rubber?

I was going to try and install the arms before the autocross next saturday but if you are busy no biggie.
