Hell yes I am glad you found us! We would love you to make it to one of our autocrosses and give everyone eargasms...
My room mate has a red e39 M5 and talked to you near downtown. From what he told me your car sounds and looks pretty damn good

Everywhere I have tried around the area has not been very nice on my wheels when mounting/balancing. I would highly suggest making the trip to Greenville... ![]() Clemson '11 |

RE: Sup everyone new here e60 m5 / STi
Sounds good, I'd definitely rather make a trip and have no headaches to deal with and have a good shop mount/balance a new tire.
O btw JB is your 335 white? with the black rear diffuser? If so I saw you yesterday when I was out ridin my bike. Really clean ride! |

RE: Sup everyone new here e60 m5 / STi
Algoods is pretty good I think. Not the one on 76 (that might be closed anyway), but the one in the middle of nowhere between Anderson and Liberty on 178. I've never brought anything nice there but I've heard good things and their mounting and balancing is cheap. Last time I got it done there they let me in the work bay, so you could supervise if you're really that concerned. Before you make the trip, though, be warned: it looks and feels about as sketch as a tire shop could be.

RE: Sup everyone new here e60 m5 / STi
Thanks for the compliment
![]() Allgoods is a great place for cheap tire mount/balance but if they were rough on the rims of my 18's I'm sure they won't be good with 20's. I guess you could get lucky but for DPE's I would just make the drive... I wish I had a suggestion for you instead of just saying "that won't work", but I just went to Allgoods last time I needed to get tires put on hoping they would be better than MyGarage but I was wrong. But any large tire shop like they have in Greenville that sells a lot of big wheels with low profile tires should be fine. ![]() Clemson '11 |

RE: Sup everyone new here e60 m5 / STi
I go to checker lube in Seneca but i don't give a shit about how the wheels come out. They charged me $40 to mount my last set of r-comps and have even cut me deals on alignments and such.
I completely agree with the DPEs being taken to greenville though. Clemson/seneca/anderson shops aren't use to taking care of nice wheels. |
