CSCC Shooting Range days

RE: CSCC Shooting Range days
The range by twin lakes is used for approve courses, police training, and shotgun club practice under supervision of a instructor/mentor.

We might be able to schedule a big shooting day one day of the year kinda deal, but I don't know if it could be free. Also, would have to be fairly straight-laced if it happened.

I'll ask a few questions.

RE: CSCC Shooting Range days
how you like that P95? I remember looking at the SR series when I was shopping for my .40, but then I found out they had mag safeties. Bummer of a deal-breaker, bc I really liked how they looked and felt.

RE: CSCC Shooting Range days
I love it. Best bang for the buck in the 9mm catagory imo. Shoots better than I can. And no mag safety. It honestly fit my hand much better than any of the other 9's I tried, including the Glock.

RE: CSCC Shooting Range days
I picked up a Beretta PX4 Storm Subcompact in the 9mm a little over a month ago. I was looking into the LC9, but wasn't a fan of the double action only part.

The PX4's are neat little guns. And yea DAO would get annoying on a semi-auto.

RE: CSCC Shooting Range days
I'm up for some shooting. I'd just like to request a range that's got some 'range' to it so I can dial in my rifle. =D

RE: CSCC Shooting Range days
The closest one is the one in Liberty. About a 30 min drive. Their rifle range is 100yds, thats about as far as you'll get around here.

I've gotten my Mosin Nagant on target at 400-500 yards max. The drop is around 45 inches though. For the price of the ammo you can't beat it. 5 bucks for a box of shells at a gun show

RE: CSCC Shooting Range days
Heres a picture of the spread on mine at 100yds using the iron sights. Ignore the ghetto ass target I used Lol But yea you really can't beat it. Its fun to shoot, moderately accurate for being 60+ years old, and its cheaper to shoot than my 9mm bang

I was aiming at the DIY dot in the middle of the logo. Would probably be pretty dead on if I shot with the bayonet attached.

Group was about the size of my open hand, not too horrible. This was like the second time I range shot it so I could close up the grouping if I tried. I didn't get it for a sniper rifle Tongue
