Lol...that would probably be worse than necking it down...

I wish I could just cut out the actual MAF sensor and run a "blow through" setup. If I could find a flange, o-ring it, and attach it to a boosted hose it should work just as well as a pre-turbo MAF. A lot of Suby guys like doing it, why not an Audi Tongue

I may have found something that can do away with the factory MAF and use strictly a map sensor while allowing complete custom tuning. I will let you know tomorrow if it does or doesn't work.

Eurodyne. I have confirmation you can do away with the MAF and use the factory map sensor.

I'm waiting to see what their dealer package involves. I can tell already it won't be cheap so we'll have to see first if it's worth the investment.

Yep, it's not cheap.

You can buy the cable and software for $899.00, then we can tune it. The benefit to this would be the ability for you to datalog and make changes on the go, like 2 step, rev limit, etc. after tuning is complete.

or

We can use our own cable, which saves you $399, bringing the Eurodyne cost to $500. Just keep in mind that no cables mean no changes by the customer.

Add our tuning fee on top of either options.

I'm not sure if it's worth it to you but that's how Eurodyne licensing works.

Shoot, $500 is still cheaper than a flash tune by Unitronic, which is not user adjustable...

I will definitely let you know. Priority right now is just to get the car running, so things like engine build and turbo will be first, but as soon as the car is going I'm saving for the tuner. I am hoping I can do all at once after the break, but if not it will be sometime next semester Smile
