I would love to see one of you guys try to get Satan's Wankel around. If it was a 2 driver car I could get heat in the tires and a good amount of time would be taken off then. Well or if the brakes worked.

RE: Results - 10.30.2010
Is it just me or was the course around 1 second slower than last time? Seems a lot of peoples times were 1 second less than the previous results.

RE: Results - 10.30.2010
The slower times may have been due to the temperature at the time you ran your car. Cold tires don't grip as well.

I'd rather be a racer for a moment than spend a lifetime as a spectator.

RE: Results - 10.30.2010
Just for the record I posted a 42.806 during the FUN RUNS to beat my official best time of 45.086. DANG!! I wish I could have done that earlier. That would have put me at 11th overall.

The cold might have been part of it, but the Chicago box was slower on the exit than it was before. Robbie, I'll talk to the guys and see if they care if anyone else drives it.

^ hahaha This will continue to happen. Fun runs are usually faster since you are more relaxed. I'd like to say thanks again to Karlye, Ryan, Stefan, Zach, Robbie, David, and everyone else that chipped in to have our event running smoothly. thumbsup Hopefully....we can play in a bigger faster lot next time....

Yea I figured that may play a role in it, thats why I tried to get into the latest run group possible.

I could easily cut another second off my times if I smoothed out my on/off throttle transitions. Hopefully the new adjustable front sway I'll be getting for x-mas will help with some of the weight transfer issues my car is having on stock suspension.

Lol So Zach is performance enhanced enough that he has an asterisk next to his runs?

Just a note that he had more seat time than everyone else Wink

As far as I know that's pretty standard for people who enter more than once if they even get their second group recorded at all.

Zach was smooth as silk... that Ohlin suspension is expensive but it really pays off in competition. He drove well and I don't mind losing to someone that drives like that!
My kudos go to Steve, Robby, teh Denz, JD, Ryan, Deborah AND Andy Geiger in his first autocross! All of you did super well! It's so good to see CC1 flying around turns on an ON CAMPUS course ...and running so welll.
Keri and Leslie turned out to be a great battle decided by 1/2 a sec ... could have gone either way. Next event, I vow that Karlye is driving even if we have to put her in Elvira! She worked the event all day and never ran. We need to fix that! Wink
Great job CSCC!!! Keep it up.

TJ rode with me on my last run and he was amazed how well the car handles. It helps to make it look easy.
