2010 Shelby Super Snake Mustang - SCT Tuner - Pump Gas Tune
Jeff was in the other day for some numbers on the dyno for his new Shelby Super Snake Mustang. After seeing how rich the car was running, he decided that it was time for a tune using SCT tuner.

Here is the setup:

Shelby GT500R Super Snake Mustang
Shelby/Kenne Bell Supercharger Upgrade
Borla Exhaust

93 Octane
Tuned with SCT X3 Tuner

We also ran into the issue of the clutch slipping. With it not slipping peak numbers could have seen up to 650whp. Jeff will be back for a set of Kooks long tube headers, catless X-Pipe, a Spec twin disk clutch, and a retune for more power.

Here is the chart on 16psi. The Blue line represents the stock tune. The Red line is the TDC tune.

Wait till the stock cast headers, and cats get replaced. Should be fun.

Good Lord......those poor tires......twisted If those dang cars were about 300 lbs lighter, there wouldn't be anything on the road that would keep up. I love the look and the sound, they're just so heavy.

That's what I said. However, it's actually not that uncommon for factory tunes, especially on boosted applications.

I'm sorry, but I have to say it. Getting 630-650whp from a stock long block, stock fuel 5.4L engine is darn impressive. Go Ford Big Grin

Ford GT 1000whp on a stock motor and fuel system = the pwnest of pwn...

I love what ford is doing these days.

I want to turbocharger the living fuck out of one of these new Shelby's

What's up with that dip at 3800 rpms?

May the Boost be with us...

RE: 2010 Shelby Super Snake Mustang - SCT Tuner - Pump Gas Tune
It follows the fuel curve. It's sort of pointless to tune it out on stock cats since that little area moves around randomly at the lower rpms from the back-pressure of the cats.
