Club Car Specs
Hey all

I thought it would be of general interest to some folks for there to be a list of specs for CC1. What all has been done to it? Engine? Suspension? I'll update this post with info as whoever knows responds.

* Front Camber Adjustment Plates
* Cut Factory Rear Springs
* 350-380lbs Front Springs
* Racing beat front sway bar
* Toyo RA-1 tires

* Modified Nikki Carburetor
* Cat delete

Other
* 4-point harness
* Fixed "racing" bucket
* Most of interior removed

Specs (if we ever get these)
* Race weight: 2xxx lbs + driver
* Weigh distribution: xx/xx

RE: Club Car Specs
GOOD IDEA TYLER!
A good portion of the suspension was donated by Steve Eckerich, Regional Executive of SCCA CCR region. He was going through a nationally competitive road racer and upgrading at the time.
I'll check with him to find out what he gave.
Michael Cassavantes and Shawn can be of some help here as well.
Along with specs, it would be good to get some docs on weight distrib, alignments, tire pressures, timing, etc. If we have nothing, then let's baseline it ... it looked awesome out there saturday as is!
These papers need to stay with the car.

Understeer is when you hit the mountain with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the mountain with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the mountain, torque is how far you move the mountain.

RE: Club Car Specs
As far as I know it has Koni reds, cut rear springs, I think 350 or 380 lbs front springs. I believe a racing beat front sway bar. As far as the engine it has a header I believe with no cat. Also it has a modified factory Nikki carb. Oh and front camber plates. Not sure of the alignment though. If you can get it to the DDMWorks open house I am sure we can get it dynoed and/or weighed.

RE: Club Car Specs
I took a gander under at the rear suspension, but it was too low for me to see up in there (gas tank in the way). Does it have a watts link? That live axle tracks really well, especially compared to the log under the back of my car. And they're Toyo R1R tires?

RE: Club Car Specs
The rear subframe needs to be checked for tightness to the frame because I felt a LOT of jiggling in the back end of that car driving in...uhh..mexico.

After I get the generator out of the back of cc1 then we can check it. Again, all of this will be taking place in mexico...

RE: Club Car Specs
It is a 12a and it does have a watts link. Tires are RA-1's

RE: Club Car Specs
13B? HAHAHAHAHA. zach's right, 12a. all smog and power accessories removed. Did we get a header for it? Last I knew it was still on the factory manifold.

I was also under the impression it was an 84 or 85, maybe we can run the vin. I do know that the shell was a gsl-se.

We really should get it weighed. Is the alignment a backyard setup? corner weighted and dynoed would be cool too, just bc.

No header. We want one though *cough cough*

And as far as I know its an '84. It has a Racing Beat intake with k&n filter too.

RE: Club Car Specs
by intake, you mean the part on top of the carb, correct? The intake manifold is stock, gutted of those funky valves they came with.

RE: Club Car Specs
The parts underneath do not match the VIN most likely - I think it originally had an open diff drum axle rearend - alot of those parts were swapped from the previous version CC1 that died. You guys are on what, the 3rd one of those now?

BTW - was talking with a CSCC member down here in Houston that I met at an autox - he was here in the mid-90s, and remembers when the club acquired the original CC1 - a black 1st gen RX7. He was amazed to hear it lived almost 10 years in the hands of the club and that parts still lived on in the newer shell!
