Suggestions about the website

could we put an opening sequence? like pics and short vids of what we do when you visit for the first time in a while or are new.

get rid of the latest posts...

have it auto show latest active threads since your last visit.

Latests posts usually show just one or two threads. You miss out on a lot of other threads that are active b/c of it.

2.) after visiting the site, the only way to return to the front original visit page is to type clemsonscc.com back into the address bar. Clicking on the porsche poster takes you to the same place that clicking on forums does... one should go to forums the other to the main home page.

Make pertinent information like event dates easy to find. Non-computer savvy people like myself are less likely to dig for the information. Part of having a forum that doesn't crash every time someone posts is to make communication with those that do not or cannot attend meetings simple. The goal of autocrosses for the club is to generate revenue as is true for the motor sports festival. And if the web site (where most people come to find this information) doesn't have the information right there in an easy to find manner they will give up and will not come to events there for failing to meet the club's goal.

Luke, the Home button will take you back to the original page.

Apparently that menu needs to be bigger cause there a lot of people not seeing it...

The Porsche logo now takes you back to the portal page.

I'm not sure how to make event information any easier to find than to put it on the front page.

You can see new threads by clicking the "New Posts" button on the top right. I use that every day. If someone misses a couple days that side will be way too long to be helpful. I'll just get rid of it and people can use the "New Posts" or "Today's Posts" buttons.

Kellan - everybody just skips those anyway.

That kinda movie stuff is really annoying cause it lags the site down ALOT when first coming into it. This isn't an advertising site, its a forum. I want to see the forums not an animation that makes my bandwidth scream for mercy.

Okay, so apparently this was a bad idea as well. I'll work on it some more tomorrow. Y'all just everyone realize that someone's always going to be upset. That person may be you. I guess in the future if you have any suggestions shoot me a PM and I'll see what I can do.
