Scenic Drive through the Mountains?
Hey everyone,
My name is Matt Connelly, and I drive a black 2003 Honda S2000. I have been to most if not all of the meetings this year and some people brought up the topic of a mountain run. They said to keep it "unofficial" which is why I am making this thread. Me and my roommate went to the tail of the dragon last semester and were planning on going this semester. The only open weekend that we didnt have a game was October 12 and 13, so were probably going to go then, and I just wanted to see if anyone else wanted to go with. If so just let me know and we can figure out a place to meet. Hopefully we can get a good size group to go this time.

EDIT: Sanitized the title thumbsup -Tyler

RE: Mountain Run?
Please, for future reference, DO NOT refer to these as mountain runs... call them "scenic drives" or "leisurely mountain cruises", as the term "mountain run" implies driving on the mountains in a fast and potentially wreckless/dangerous manner. Since this website is well-seen and associated with the school, we need to protect the club's image and be careful what terms we use.

Please keep that in mind, I don't mean to be raining on your parade (my car has been to the dragon, and Caesar's Head is one of my current local favorite places for a "scenic drive"), but I'm just asking for you to please be careful.

RE: Mountain Run?
My bad man didn't mean to make it sound like that. If there was a button to edit that post I would, but I cant find it anywhere. I did make a mistake though. When I was looking up dates, I was looking at last year's calender. What I meant to say was October 9 not the 12th or 13th. That's a saturday with an away game and no events on the tail of the dragon calender.

Oh yea? How would anyone know that? Where is the calendar posted. The only thing about autocrosses that I've found is the registration times.

RE: Scenic Drive through the Mountains?
This is completely unrelated, but does anyone know who made the logo on the motorsportreg.com site? I would like the PDF for it if possible Smile

I know it is. I'll be going again too though. I would go this weekend but I'm going home to work and make some money.
