RE: The most epic reveal ever
The Stig is ruined as a character, at least for now. At least it seems to me that would be the case; maybe those who follow the show see it differently?

I hope they send him out in a ball of flame or something suitably funny. In comes... Gray stig!

RE: The most epic reveal ever
They've said it was him for a while now. I'm impressed that they kept it this long. If he truly did all the driving as white Sitg.....he's amazing! I love the episode where they take on D-Motor and he's in the DBR9 and drives the crap out of that thing. And the fact that he could keep the crazy things like the CCX on the track.

RE: The most epic reveal ever
yea i kinda hope it isn't true but i think it is. i've heard rumors for quite a while that it was him for most of the stig filming. obviously for certain cars/episodes it's not the usual driver. for instance, i'm 99% sure that the episode where the stig takes the ferrari FXX around the course, it was probably Michael himself driving, not ben collins. it makes sense if you think about it since they usually record those tests (and the SIARPC segment) earlier in the day of recording.

RE: The most epic reveal ever
so whats next?

blue stig?
Red stig?
two stig?
More stig?

Although I do like grey as an idea...
Its just nice being able to compare idealy all of the lap times b/c its the same driver. (although not the same conditions.) Anytime I am interested in a car I check out the wiki entry of all the times the cars have made on the track...

2010 Chevy Silverado 5.3l Crew Cab.
2012 Mustang V6
Missed but not forgotten:
2006 350z Track.
1987 Porsche 944S.
1994 Geo Prizm.

RE: The most epic reveal ever
i really don't think it matters if we know who the stig is. they can still do all the "some say..." jokes and he's still an incredible driver. and to kill off the stig would be like killing off james, richard, or jeremy. he's an integral part of the show, and the fact that we know who he is doesn't really change anything.

RE: The most epic reveal ever
They already said they fired collins. I bet they'll just come up with Green stig or something and continue on as usual.
