Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

Ok so I have been talking about doing a meeting before the semester begins to try and get some decisions out of the way for this upcoming semester. I do not want to plan everything down to the "T" for the upcoming semester, just some sort of rough outline of when the autocrosses will take place, along with a couple other events sprinkled in around football games (Caesars head runs, drag strip, Euro festival).

SO...if you want to have any input into what happens this semester then making it to this meeting would be a good idea. I know not everyone will be able to make it to the first one, thats ok. I plan on having at least one more of these before the semester begins. Ross has already begun putting a schedule together based on the football schedule and such, so we basically have our work cut out for us.

Please pm me if you will be able to make it. Hopefully we can make this into sort of a cookout type deal so its not just business!

I will be here for good starting next Monday so I am tentatively setting the first meeting time on Tuesday, August 10th at 6pm at my house in the Retreat, #1100

I'll show for this, just shoot me a text to remind me. I should be in town at the time... tomorrow I'm driving up on a road trip visiting Virginia, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, New York, etc. It's gonna be nuts.

Also, you need to see my new racey(ricey?) bumper in the flesh. Surprised

I unfortunately work 6:30am-7:15pm tomorrow, thus I will probably not feel like doing anything when I get off of work.

Well not sure about the turnout but if anyone can make it that would be better than none! I have had a few pm's with suggestions from people who couldn't come, which is also helpful. This meeting is still happening, not sure if we are doing a cookout tho but its happening!

Lol I made one in the Events forum then decided I wanted an announcement too...

Thanks to everyone that came! We had a good little cookout and got some awesome ideas planned for this semester! We managed to schedule all three auto-x events for the semester. I don't really feel like posting everything up at the moment because Keegan MADE me go out and get drunk... Lol

But seriously, we got some good stuff out of this meeting. I plan on having another one for everyone who wasn't able to get their 2cents in, along with figuring out how to put on the various events we want to get going later next week. It will most likely be NEXT TUESDAY AT 6 again, so plan on it (please) if you were not able to make this one!

Ok so scratch the next Tuesday meet because we will be working on the Organization Fair that day. However I would like to have a meeting next Monday night to get ready for the fair. We need to have flyers and cool parts to put out on a table so people will be distracted by shiny cars and parts thumbsup

. If anyone has anything they would like to lend for the afternoon please tell me, and if you want to have your car in the fair pm me. Whoever else wants to help with the Org Fair and proceeding CSCC "propaganda" events try to make it to my house Monday night at 6pm.

Also I am about to go make some new ClemsonSCC.ORG stickers. If you make it to one of the events stickers will be available, I want to get enough made so we can give one to each dues paying member.
