CSCC Auto-x July 17 Cancelled...
This even has been cancelled or possibly postponed. We are awaiting a reply about the venue time. Thanks for keeping up with our difficulties, making an autocross work in a college town during the summer was harder than we though...thumbsdown

Event Description

The Clemson Sports Car Club is holding the 1st (second try) Autocross of this Summer Series. We are tentatively planning to make this a Championship Series with points awarded to the top 5 in each class.
Schedule
Registration/Check In 8:00 AM - 9:15 AM
Tech Inspection 8:15 AM - 9:45 AM
Novice Course Walks 8:45, 9:00, 9:15 AM
Driver's Meeting 9:45 AM
First Car Out 10:00 AM
Fun Runs (time permitting) 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Registration Minimum of 30 by Friday, July 9th!

Register here!
http://www.motorsportreg.com/index.cfm/e...93391F00A0

Due to lower than expected attendance w/ past events, we are now setting a minimum of 30 entries to be registered atleast 1 week before the event date (July 9th) for the event to be held. This will help to ensure attendance is sufficient to financially allow CSCC to continue to hold autocross events. In the event of an event cancellation, we will credit your account with the amount paid which can be used for a future event.

NOTE: Even if you pre-pay, you MUST go to on-site registration to check in during the specified Registration/Check In time. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made for late entrants after 9:30 unless directors are otherwise notified.
Entry Fees
CSCC Members $20.00
Non-Members $30.00

NOTE: There is a $5.00 additional fee for on-site payment.

NOTE: To take advantage of discounts at CSCC Autocrosses and other events, you can join at http://www.clemsonscc.org/page-join.html . Anyone can join CSCC and we welcome any and all interested in cars and motorsports.

EVERYONE TRY TO POST THIS UP ON AS MANY BOARDS AS POSSIBLE! Lets not have another cancellation, it makes both CSCC and Clemson as a whole look bad...

RE: CSCC Auto-x July 17
I believe the 30 person minimum cutoff would be July 9th not 16th.

Also, how do I use my credit from the last one?

Fixed, thanks for noticing. As for the credit, pm Ross or Keegan about that, I am unsure of how to properly use motorsportreg...

RE: CSCC Auto-x July 17
Can someone make a facebook group for this today? I tell about 30 people with that.

I also posted it on WNCRides like usual and emailed the people I usually do about it.

Anyone can make a facebook event. You can set it up pretty easily if you want one, and it won't be as frustrating as waiting for someone else to do it.

True, but I am not on facebook much anymore. If I have time tonight I'll do it, but I am not sure what time I'll get home from work.

RE: CSCC Auto-x July 17
Rats, you cancel the first CSCC autocross my son and I sign up for and now it just so happens that you plan the second one for the first day of our vacation, LOL. Always my luck. That was to be my sons first autocross, but he will be at another one as I will not allow him to get his permanent license until he completes at least 2 autocrosses. I just recently retired from the Air Force and we are looking for a good club to autocross with. I have already paid for both of us for the cancelled autocross and I understand that the payment will be good for the next autocross we sign up for? I have 15 years autocross experience and am willing to help out any way I can. See you at the next one we can attend. We will be at any autocross you schedule that we can attend.

That sounds like what I want to do if I ever have a son. We will definitely be having several more this August through December, so hopefully we can get the schedule out in time for you to keep from having another vacation at the same time!

Thanks for posting up and we hope to see you and your son in the next couple months!

Sorry about the cancellation! It's a challenge for us to get things done in the summer sometimes since everyone goes in a million different directions. I have no doubt that we'll have events in the Fall. As for the July one, we really want to have it. You have autocross experience, so PLEASE bring anyone you know through that and tell them we'd be happy to have them. We usually have challenging courses and we don't take ourselves too seriously. You'll have fun whenever you can make it Smile

RE: CSCC Auto-x July 17
When I click on the registration list, I get the following...

"No entries are listed - this may be because the organizer has disabled this feature or there are no registrations yet. List updated every 15 minutes."

I have a MotorsportReg account and I am logged in. So, has no one signed-up or is the feature disabled?

Thanks,
Steven
