RE: Clemson Motorsports Festival 2010 - boxer4charles - 02-11-2010 12:54 AM Since spectating is free, Im guessing registering for the event lets you showcase your car and a chance at a trophy? Are there any other benefits of registering? EDIT: Nevermind found more info, so for entrants: -Showcase car -Chance for trophy/award -Raffle ticket for prize ...is this right? Is the food free for entrants? RE: Clemson Motorsports Festival 2010 - RHennin - 02-11-2010 02:00 AM Food will be available, but not free. We'll be working on getting some good food there and making sure its "college student friendly" pricing. Also note you get a free event shirt with registration. Updating registration to be a little more clear this time. RE: Clemson Motorsports Festival 2010 - mdenz3 - 02-11-2010 10:23 AM Is there a category for ugly yet purposeful cars?
RE: Clemson Motorsports Festival 2010 - DNAgirl - 02-11-2010 11:11 AM Not really dude. I registered my bmw, and it doesn't really fit well into any category - partially race-prepped, 20 yr old European car but not quite a beater, lol. Hopefully her new paint job will make her slightly more competitive in the Euro category
RE: Clemson Motorsports Festival 2010 - Cam@TDCauto - 02-11-2010 11:31 AM Def looking forward to this.. RE: Clemson Motorsports Festival 2010 - JB - 02-11-2010 11:45 AM Registered! Hoping to have my wheels by then hehe...

Maybe the older things need a classic category....I got a truck that qualifies! I think this post should be edited to have the date of the event and location it is being held. Unless I am blind I dont see the information about location and I do not see it in the link either, did not click on register b/c initially I did not think I would be able to attend as an entry but spectator I hope. ALSO, will there be additional shirts for purchase?? I like the 1st annual shirt I got; well, the wife does.... RE: Clemson Motorsports Festival 2010 - karlyew - 02-14-2010 06:12 PM we usually have a few extra shirts to purchase (at least we did last year, I think). RE: Clemson Motorsports Festival 2010 - mdenz3 - 02-15-2010 01:38 PM Went ahead and registered, though I may need to change the vehicle info. RE: Clemson Motorsports Festival 2010 - RHennin - 02-15-2010 02:45 PM That's ok Mike. You can go on and change your registration info at any time up to the cut off date for registration. As an update: This week we'll be working on a huge push for advertisement through club brochure send outs to 50 in the SE, forum posts, press release, email and many other outlets. Please go ahead and copy the announcement post to any forums you might be on and make sure to pay attention for our weekly updates so you can post those and keep other forums updated on how things are coming along for this event. I'm currently considering putting some effort into bringing/arranging for a mobile dyno to come to the event. Costs are likely to be in the $40-50 range. Please pm me if you're interested and can afford this since we'd like to add a reg. option for this specific item if we get enough interest. For any other ideas or questions, please post them up or send us an email at registrar@clemsonmotorsportsfestival.com RE: Clemson Motorsports Festival 2010 - Fasttoys - 02-15-2010 06:26 PM OK how about this, a shinny FFR Cobra painted Clemson colors (yes I will clean it up) parked next to a beat up '46 Chevy truck. Your cobra is on our major presentation intro slides so we'll def. make sure to get a good spot for you at the event. Unless someone else has a cooler car with tiger paws all over it, I have a feeling your car could be one of the main cars people remember from this event. Everyone pm me a list of forums you've posted this event on and we'll try to keep track of that for our current and future advertising. Register now! RE: Clemson Motorsports Festival 2010 - JB - 02-16-2010 09:41 AM I posted this up on Carolina Mazdas so you might want to include them as a group in registration. I will have to go back over club brochure to make sure this information is correct, but I know they do get some advantages/benefits for having at least 10 people register. Keegan, David, Ross, feel free to edit anything I said, or add on to it. RE: Clemson Motorsports Festival 2010 - keegano - 02-22-2010 08:37 PM bump. Hey guys.
