Ok, I figured out my classing, got the battery hold down installed, ensured they were no leaks, registered, and cleaned all the loose items from the car.

Is there anything else I need or should do before my first autocross?

What should I do for tire pressure?

Will I fail tech for low tread on the tires? ( I hope not because finding cheap tires for this thing has been a nightmare)

How early do I need to get there? I live over an hour from the venue and I'm
not a morning person.
You need to be there by 9. As for tire pressure, it really depends on what you're driving.

Otherwise, you're way ahead of the rest of us Lol
we check to make sure your battery is secured, throttle return spring is working, brake pedal builds pressure, and check for loose wheels.

make sure your lugnuts are torque'd and your floormats are out, and try to have your own painter's tape for numbers on your car. (ours always seems to disappear) low tread depth is fine, as long as the tires are not corded or chunking badly or anything else that could be unsafe.

Thanks for registering, looking forwards to seeing you out there!
Take out your drivers side floor mat if you have one. Tire tread shouldn't be an issue as long as they aren't on the wear bars or completely corded Big Grin

As for tire pressure, ask somebody at the autocross for some tire chalk. Then mark the edge of your tires before your first run with the chalk in a few places. After the run check where the chalk was worn off. You don't want it to be too far on the sidewall but also to have it wear on more than just the flat part. There should be arrows on the tire to show the recommended wear point.

Just ask anybody at the autocross for help if my explaination makes no sense (which is a definite possibility) Lol

Ctrl + C, then Ctrl + V

If this is our leadership, we're screwed Tongue
Are you guys doing an instructor bit again like last time?
More than likely. Right now we should have a few guys that can help out with that.
I am planning on instructing, as much as possible.
A ride along first would probably be very helpful.
