Pretty short meeting tonight so theres only a few points worth noting.

* There will not be a TireRack Street Survival this semester. Not enough space was available in any lots on campus so we will have to try again next semester

* Once again some people are going to try and go to Commerce drag strip this friday. Thread here http://clemsonscc.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?t=10176

* Just a reminder that Top Dead Center is having its open house on the 12th. Should be a great time and definately some good prices on dyno runs. Even if you don't want to run you should go and check out their new digs Smile

* It was decided that people want two-sided tshirts this semester so we will have to get a design created and get those made.

* Also new club decal designs are under works so keep an eye out for those. Its a good way to represent the club (responsibly wink ) and also some free hp if placed on your car Lol

* If you plan on joining the club you can still do so at the meetings. We didn't have any membership forms this meeting due to some discrepencies but we are working on it. I think there is an issue with the link on the main page for the membership forms so we will look into that as well. The paypal account for dues on that page should still be working though.

* Next week we will be having the Tuesday meet at the parking garage downtown. Tony's has a church group come in every other tuesday so we can't go there every week. Heres a thread with directions and details for the meeting http://clemsonscc.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?t=10216

If I'm forgetting anything just let me know and I'll add it to this list.

So am I to understand that if I get this "decal" I can increase my hp, but only if installed upon my vehicle? How many decals can I get, is there no limit to the hp?

I think sticker hp only works on Honda's...the more rice it is the more hp too!
Sorry to hear we have scrapped the Street Survival Program for this year. I have seen these run on less than favorable lots ... smaller and less than ideal shape and surface.

*There are lots that would work on campus and if we need to get a group of people together to go speak to school officials, let me know. This actually might be an opportunity to show CSCC wants to give back to the school and do something FOR CU. It would be interesting in that if Parking Services said NO... they would be blocking an opportunity to improve safety of the students. Hmmmmmm

* Old Greenville Braves stadium is down the road but available and can be had reasonable for a charity event. If I can help negotiate that, let me know.

* The AU site is also less than ideal but a TRSS training could be held there.

* I was on 93 driving toward Central from Easley and passed Liberty High School. The parking lot beside their football stadium would be workable for a TSS training and might actually make a decent smaller AX site.

Great start to the year and meeting.

You can only increase the hp by 5 whp per sticker. And they must be placed in the most obvious and visually imparing place possible. Like your front windshield for example.

Ted, it's not that we've scrapped the event. Empower Clemson, who was interested in putting on the event and was supposed to be handling all of the univeristy stuff, dropped the ball on this one. They did not notify the powers that be with enough time to keep their scheduled date to be able to use all of any of the lots. Anderson University was also interested, but they backed out. So, through no fault of our own, this isnt happening. YET. It can still totally happen, and I think we should try our hardest to make it so.
Any updates on the Anderson Auto-x's (which at the first meeting tentative dates were given for)?

Not yet. I'm working on it. We have a few things to take care of first before we can set dates. I'll let everyone know when we have more information.k
