Clemson Sports Car Club

so, i just got confirmation/schedule for the fall organizations fair.

we have been approved for two cars, in addition to our table, two chairs, and access to electricity. So, we need to decide whose cars will be on display. however, before you say you are available, please read all the schedule below. I also need people to be there to help, and answer questions etc, if you just wanna be there some of the time that's cool.

so:

9-10am is basic setup

10-11am is setup for people with large displays (this includes us!)

11-12pm is tables and chairs setup

12-1pm is event check - in

1-2pm electricity setup

2-3:30 is setup for remaining orgs

4:00 pm - organizations fair begins

7:00 pm - event ends, everything cleaned up and put away

Therefore, if you are available to bring your car for us to display, I need you to be able to be at Bowman at 10 and at 7, in between is not required, but would be appreciated if you were around some.

If you would like to just come and hang out and help, also let me know.

What day is this going to be? Monday? I have the Miata up here in Clemson and could maybe bring it (depending on what day this event is). Tried calling you but you didn't answer. Call me back if you're interested.

Rob, if you could bring the miata, i think that'd be great, I'll confirm with you very soon. Sorry I didn't answer, I was mid-brake change on a 3500 dodge dually and I didn't recognize your number. I'll be in touch, however don't expect contact at all tomorrow, I'll be driving from Indiana to Florence, and then Florence to Clemson.

I was wondering if we'd have a spot at the fair this year. Good to see we got one I'll most likely be working Monday until 4 or 5 so I doubt I'll be able to help out. I may stop by after work depending on when I get off.

So far the plan is to have a table, chairs, electricity cscc tent and two cars. Stefan has gotten Rob Fogle to get the green miata there and Fred Switzer will be dropping off his spec e30 as well.

People at the table will be me, Stefan, Keegan O. (i think) and hopefully the other officers. Other officers, let us know if you can or can't come. Also, please wear your CSCC shirts if you have em, that's for Officers and regular members.

I will do my best to stop by for a bit. I have to work on writing a grant and my adviser said he wanted to see me as well which means whenever he has time (he's the dept. head). Is anyone going to have just a regular street car there? We don't want to give the impression you have to have a race car or even a sports car to be part of the club

I agree with keri, ill talk with stefan and ross about it in the morning. Maybe we can use one of their cars

My mustang will be on campus if you want to use it, though I'm not sure that will really help. It's just a little old V6 though

We can use my car, but it's suffering from douchebags opening their doors into my cars and taking out chunks of paint. I'll wash it tomorrow morning, but not sure that it deserves the booth like the e30 or miata.
