ok as we speak my car is getting tuned and getting some engine work and hopefully achieve my goal of 400whp. anyways i jsut got back from orientation and pretty much heard haveing a car freshman year is a pain in the ass esp during fb games. Any advice for me and if any members would be willing to let me park off campus that are living off campus for a fee i wouldn't mind doing that.
Its not a big deal. I did it freshmen year just fine. All you have to do is move it across campus for home games.

What would be the point of having you car here, but off campus. Just park it in the resident lot so you can drive it when you want to.
Sadly our student government has sold off the event halfway reasonable parking spots to the IPTAY machine. You have to move your car to Kite hill parking lot or the actually hill area. I'd suggest park there early for home games. Some places don't even require hang tags or check cars. The Summit has plenty of parking usually, but is 10 mins or so from campus.
I don't care a thing for the football so I would just find a friend living off campus and hang out at his place for the weekend all the time and not worry about it. If you want to go to the games though, you will need to park your car in one of the paved lots early lest you be driving around in the grass/dirt/mud to get a parking spot.

Other than that it's just a long walk to your car.

Keep in mind that this place is infested with greenie hippies who think internal combustion engines are the spawn of Satan and don't want anyone driving anything but hybrids and electric cars roll
thanks and i heard some cscc members go to the dyno things at tdc perfomance. is this true?
We've had a few people go on occasion. I've meant to myself for the past year or so but I've had something else to do on the weekends they schedule them.
What, dare I ask, have you done to a mazda 6 to achieve 400whp? O_O Can't be putting down more than ~190whp stock through a slushbox... I may have to get that turbo sooner than I had planned if I'm getting dusted by a mazda 6 Lol

But yes, I also had a car here last here (freshman year). It's a pain, but worth it if you enjoy driving like I do. I had to park in the grass one game and nearly got stuck on my way out (it had rained) so I'd suggest trying to get a spot in the actual parking lot, or parking at someone's apartment.

Ah I gotcha. Those are nice. I take it the s14 = silvia body kit? Those look pretty mean in the front. Doesn't look like anything too hard core on the engine so far, but from what I've read it doesn't take much to get up to 400whp on those RB engines (bigger turbo and a tune, basically).

Car's never get done "on time" so that's not a huge issue. I know you want it back ASAP though. However, I'm sure it makes up for it when you are getting some free upgrades. Keep us posted.....
