So the big topic is as you may have heard, Elections were held! Congrats to our new officers!
Keegan O'Dell will be the new president for the 2009-2010 school year. Keegan has been the Treasurer for this year and has been instrumental in the club's activities this year, as well as the car show last year.
David Elkin will be the Vice President. David is a newcomer, and has graciously offered to jump right in to things as an officer. He has been extremely helpful with the Motorsports Festival planning this year.
I will be taking over Treasurer duties.
Ryan Rose will be our new secretary. Ryan has been present at our meetings for some time now, but will now be an active member of the commanding group of this club.
We have also added two new staff positions:
Karlye Williams will be our new Public Relations person. Karlye will be responsible for general promotion of the club and maintaining our positive image, etc.
Robbie Sellers will be our new Reporter Guy. Robbie will take pictures and document club events, etc.
In other news:
Motorsports Festival 2009.
Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!!
That's right people, the show is this sunday, April 19th.
We need Help!! If you can help, post up and you will gladly be directed to a task.
The autocross this past weekend was a success, we had a great turnout and an awesome time. Stay tuned for a possible summer schedule. How many people will be around this summer and would be interested in attending a few autocrosses this summer?
